About Accountable Healthcare Advantage
Our roots go back to two longstanding, successful Predecessors Independent Physician Organizations – Oakwood Primary Care Physicians and Wyandotte IPA (founded in 1992).
Anticipating the evolution of value-based reimbursement and population management, these two POs merged to create Accountable Healthcare Alliance in 2009. In 2012, Accountable Healthcare Advantage Physician Organization was created as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Accountable Healthcare Alliance to focus on health plan contracting while Accountable Healthcare Alliance focused on participating in the Medicare Shared Savings Program.
Today, Accountable Healthcare Advantage consists of more than 250 independent physicians (primary care and specialists) dedicated to improving the quality and efficiency of patient care.
The Accountable Healthcare Advantage Board is committed to using the core competencies – promoting evidence-based medicine, data sharing and quality and cost reporting – it has developed over many years of successful managed care population health and cost management in supporting the success of member physicians.
Our Management Partner: Medical Advantage Group
Accountable Healthcare Advantage contracts with Medical Advantage Group for management and operations services. Medical Advantage Group currently manages more than 40 physician organizations, two large physician led ACOs, and more. Our expert consultants deliver the tools, best practices and proven methodologies to optimize practices through a variety of value-based health care solutions including: PCMH facilitation, data analytics, billing/coding optimization, population health management, risk contracts, care management/coordination, HEDIS performance improvement, risk assessments, and technology implementation.
